Problem Solvers

Problem: Avatars are shedding blue triangles. Some other objects do the same thing with different colors.

Solution: The Show Updates option on the Debug menu displays visible indicators (colored triangles) when an object or avatar changes, by moving, changing textures, playing an animation, etc.

1. Turn Show Updates off by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Shift-U.

2. If that doesn't work, press Ctrl-Alt-Shift-D to toggle the Debug menu on. Click Show Updates.

Hovering?
You might be stuck in an animation. Try going in and out of appearance or turning your AO off and on --better yet just detach and reattach it. Clear that cache might help too.

Feet sinking?
Prim shoes might not fit properly. Or pose ball might be off set. It also could be your AO.

Group IMs being dumb?
Type your message in a note card then copy and paste it into the Group IM window. Sometimes that works, some times you have to copy and paste a few times.

Running two Windows of SL?
add " -multiple" at the very end of the target line in your shortcut properties.

Open debug settings in advanced menu (ctrl+alt+d) and find 'allowmultipleviewers in the drop down menu and set it from 'false' to 'true'
