Who's your Daddy?

Ok, so yeah, we hit upon another building block on Second Life. It’s called having umm virtual kids. :D
I’ve wanted one for a while now since I’m crazy about my partner IN and OUT of Second Life folks….

I guess this is considered part II of Got Partner

Today she gives me the surprise, *Jacks, see if you can see something new about me* I swear in my heart of hearts I knew what it was instantly but wanted to tease her.

I asked if it was her new coat, and she giggled. I knew the skin and the hair, those had not changed. I did noticed her AO was different (she was holding her tummy).

Then her tummy spoke: *Italia feels nauseated* in green letters on the screen. I was sure then and felt ok to ask.

Yep, she bought the Mommy AO and shape. WICKED :D
I wiggled in my seat with excitement but didn’t want to seem like too big of a dork so I shouted YAY!! Ok that might have been a bit dorky......

(Ok, odd, but every big event we end up on the deck in our PJs dancing.)

The deal on the babies is, you go to a maternity place and pick out just what you want.

We are talking types of baby – and not only male and female decisions there peeps! They had dragons and gorean and furies and a few others, I was sorta in shock looking about. They also have skin tone, eye and hair color.

There are people (doctors and nurses) that request your shape dimensions, so they can form fit the tummy to your AV.

From what I gather, you the (Mommy) get this cool HUD to use to satisfy the baby now and then. Along with other people the options to click that cute tummy (Me) to rub her belly, admire or congratulate her.

I might share the Admire and Congratulate options....tummy rubbing is for me!! :D

Apparently the *baby* needs attention, every once in a while it will whisper to the mommy it’s needs, (Ok per Tali its like every 5 minutes) if mommy fails to do so, then the baby freaks and you get a red warning text above your head stating the baby is in danger.

How do you know this Jacks? Well, Tali was DJing, in the middle of her set we got the red flashy text, she just TPed to the maternity place and the HUD reset it self.

The *doctor* said after a few messages from the baby and you don't respond to them, you get that message.

Every two weeks? Here again, not sure if this is SL time or outside time, you receive another shape to make your tummy appear to be growing.

So, I plan on keeping a diary of this just to see how it goes and making some baby items for funzies.
